Marsha L. Atherton, MD
Marsha Atherton grew up in a small town in the upper peninsula of Michigan and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, and residency at Providence Hospital Family Medicine Program in Southfield, MI. She joined the GCHC team in 2010 and became the Medical Director of the clinic in 2011.
Michele Beebe, FNP
Michelle Beebe is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is a U.S. Army veteran and has worked as an ICU, ER and medical surgical registered nurse prior to attending a NP master’s program at MSU Bozeman. She is Board Certified for Family Practice through AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners). She has a goal of adding her psychiatric certification. She has worked in emergency rooms in Poplar and Glasgow as well as throughout northeastern Montana, and she worked for the VA in both Glasgow and Cut Bank before returning to the ER at NRMC in 2014.
Special interests include health promotion and disease prevention, Yoga, and fitness, and loves include her cats, skiing, Glacier Park, and music.
Christy Branch RN
Christy Branch RN, is the Director of Nursing. She has worked in the Nursing field since 2009. She has an acute care, long term care and clinic background.
You will always catch her and husband Dewey attending Football games, and wrestling meets.
Chris Calerich FNP
Chris Calerich is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and grew up in Denver, CO. He moved to Utah to pursue a nursing career. He has an extensive nursing background, where he worked in hospice, long term care, ICU and ER. He received his master’s degree from the University of Colorado. He has always had a passion for living and working in rural communities. He and his wife have 4 children. They love to go camping whenever they get the chance. Other interests include hiking, fishing, hunting and any outdoor exploring.
Tracy Richman, CNM
Tracy Richman, APRN-CNM: Tracy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University in 2002, and then a Master’s degree in Nursing Education in 2007. She has spend most of her nursing career in rural health nursing as well as teaching in the BSN Nursing Program at MSU-Bozeman.
She earned her Certified Nurse Midwife degree through Frontier Nursing University in 2015.

She is married with three children and her yellow lab. Tracy spends her free time enjoying her family, being active, and coaching an assortment of youth sporting activities.

Dr. Hooker obtained a Masters Degree in applied physiology from the University of South Carolina with a focus on athletic training and muscular degenerative diseases., then medical School at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After that he attended undergraduate school at Weber State University, then completed a general surgery internship at Valleywise Medical Center. Finally, he completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery with rearfoot/reconstructive ankle credentials.
He has been practicing in Northern Montana since 2018.
When Dr. Hooker is not treating patients, he mostly enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, an addicted gym-rat, a wannabe scratch golfer, an amateur astronomer and always has a good book to read.
Danielle Kennedy, DDS
Dr. Danielle Kennedy has been practicing dentistry for five years at IHS in Browning. A Cut Bank native, she got her dental degree from the University of Washington and then came back to the area. Dr. Kennedy started with GCHC in March 2018 as dental director.
Donald Ririe, DDS
Donald Ririe graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in dentisty. He then worked in a private practice in Utah, followed by five years with Kaiser in Oregon, and another six years in private practice in Portland. While in Portland he did sedation dentistry to help fearful patients get over their fear of dentists, thereby developing and building trust which helped them get over their fear of dentists. Dr. Ririe and family live in MacGrath, Alberta, where they relocated to be near his mother.
Catharine Goodson, DDS
Dr. Catharine Goodson has proudly served the Dental Profession since 1985. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Houston and completed an IV Anesthesia Certification at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Her life-long passion for the profession was provided by her Father, who owned and operated a dental laboratory. Dr. Goodson’s passions in Dentistry include oral surgery and orthodontics. She is also certified to provide CPR and Medical Emergency training.
Her recent relocation to Cut Bank from Texas is providing her with many opportunities for community involvement and exploration of our beautiful state. Her son is an engineering student in Texas and is considering a move to beautiful Montana.

MacKenzie Carlson, RDH
MacKenzie Carlson joined the GCHC dental team in June 2017. She attended both the University of Montana and Great Falls College MSU where she earned her dental hygiene degree. She was a dental assistant for two years prior. She was born and raised in Choteau, Montana and loves the small town life.
Erin Larson, RDH
Erin Larson is a registered Dental Hygienist here at GCHC. She graduated high school in Cut Bank in 2012, then attended the Blackfeet Community College, receiving an Associates of Science. She then attended Great Falls MSU and completed the Dental Hygiene program. She has been a hygienist for 5 years now and found her home here at GCHC.

She grew up here in Cut Bank, married her high school sweetheart Myles and have two beautiful daughters. They enjoy spending their time as a family camping, swimming, and going on trips together. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in her garden and taking care of her chickens.
Angela Black, LCPC
Behavioral Health Director
Angela Black is a therapist who earned her Master’s degree from Bellevue University in Clinical Counseling. She is originally from the Hi-Line and pursued the helping profession to fulfill her desires to work with individuals and families in rural areas. She has been in the mental health field for the past nine years and has worked primarily with children and families as a CSCT therapist since 2014. She is fulfilled to be working in a profession of helping people to improve and maintain optimal functioning in everyday life.
J. R. Myers, NCC, MAC, LCPC
J.R. Myers started with GCHC in May 2017, coming directly from Alaska where he worked with the Kinitzee Indian tribe as a behavioral health counselor at a wellness center in Kenai. Integrated health is a special interest of his, being an avenue in which all providers on staff work as a team to offer the best care possible for their patients. J.R. grew up in Great Falls, and graduated from C.M Russell High School and the University of Great Falls. He is happy to return to this area and is always looking for ways to be involved in the community.
Caleb Calhoun, PMHNP
Caleb Calhoun joined us in November 2023. He is Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, helping behavioral health patients manage medications. He is originally from New York State but has been living in Montana on-and-off since 2016. He recently graduated from a Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He also worked for several years as a Behavioral Health nurse in the Flathead area before coming to GCHC. He enjoys hiking and running in his free time.
